Training Testimonies
"After five years of wanting to attend Mission Bridge School, the opportunity presented itself in the fall of 2006. At first, I felt left out because I had not heard God’s call to an outreach, like most of the class had. But I clearly heard and strongly felt led to attend the class. While learning each week how to be more like God and putting my sinful nature aside, I kept asking God what kind of an outreach did he have for me. Finally, toward the end of the class, He revealed to me that I am on the mission field every day of my life. He told me that it is not where I am but who I am that is important. Mission Bridge has moved me one step closer to God and His will for my life."

“In over seven years of serving on camp staff I have never seen any training that has had a larger impact on the spiritual unity, bonding and growth of any staff. The teaching was very practical. This resulted in a better ministry between staff and campers as well as between staff members.”

“Mission Bridge did more than just prepare me by briefing me on the do’s and don’ts of the culture. It prepared me to minister more effectively. The biblical principles I learned in
Mission Bridge have become a lifestyle.”

“The training better prepared us as individuals and as Christians. It helped us to understand we were going to serve, not to teach or show the local people how to be better Christians. We knew our role and purpose and were free to serve God.”

“I knew from the moment I walked into Mission Bridge School that God was going to change my life forever. Mission Bridge has changed my heart and my view of ministry more than any other class that I have ever taken. It gets to the root of issues that we all have and exposes them to the light of God’s character and truth.”
“The spiritual emphasis helped clarify why the team should go on this mission. The cross-cultural instruction gave information about how the team members should relate to Christian brothers and sisters in a different cultural setting. This preparation resulted in effective work attitudes and spiritual sensitivity.”
