Youth With A Mission
Mission Bridge Ministries is a YWAM Ministry, an international movement of Christians working to help make a difference in a needy world. Founded in 1960 by Loren and Darlene Cunningham, it is now one of the largest inter-denominational and international Christian ministries, with about 12,000 volunteer staff (and thousands more affiliated workers) based in over 800 locations in over 135 countries.
Mission Bridge Ministries serves as a satellite ministry of YWAM Metro NY in Smithtown, New York on Long Island. Nick and Rozanne Savoca are the Base Directors and have been pioneering YWAM Bases for over 30 years. It was an honor to be given the opportunity to serve in partnership with them under their leadership beginning in 1999. YWAM International website

Canton First Friends Church
Mission Bridge is supported by First Friends Church, an Evangelical Friends congregation in Canton, OH. Mission Bridge School is held at First Friends 55th Street and Market Avenue campus each fall but is a non-denominational ministry. There is normally a representation of students from several churches in each school.
The Friends Church began more than three hundred years ago in England under the leadership of George Fox, a man who experienced a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and spend his life sharing this experience with others. The emphasis of a personal relationship with a holy God rather than ritualistic religion continues to motivate Friends to minister to others. Since its dedication in 1946, Canton First Friends has reached into the community to effect positive Christian influences in many areas and is privileged to be a part of providing this missions preparation vehicle for the community of Believers.
