Mission Statement
Youth With A Mission and Mission Bridge Ministries desire to share a God-given strategy to reach out to people in the marketplace through prayer for their felt needs, and in so doing, lead them to Christ who alone can meet their real or eternal need.

Mission Bridge Ministries desires for its volunteers to pray with boldness and confidence God’s truth, promises and Word believing He hears and answers their prayers.

Biblical Basis
Praying for people in the marketplace was an every day practice of the first century church. The miracles and healings that resulted were used of God to draw attention to the message of the Gospel and the real need of the people their need of a relationship with Jesus.

Most people in the world today are not hungering or thirsting after a spiritual relationship with God, but they have real needs they want God to help them with. It might be a healing, a job, a place to live, problems at home, a family member or close friend. By first addressing their felt need and believing God to meet that need, their hearts are warmed and open to hear the gospel and respond.

Praying for people on the street through the Prayer Station Ministry is not a gimmick for the Gospel. In the ministry of Jesus and the early apostles, the prayers that were prayed for the unbelievers were powerful and effective to meet their needs- and God has not changed! It is important that those Christians that participate in Prayer Evangelism are prepared to believe God for the miraculous. In this prayer evangelism method, we not only pray for the lost- but with the lost. Prayer becomes something we do not just to prepare for battle, but the battle itself.

Strategy
Every Christian can practice prayer evangelism since God has in these last days poured His Spirit out on all flesh. We don't need the gift of the evangelist or the vocabulary of a great preacher, we are simply giving to others the special gift given to us through Christ—access to God!

In effect, we begin by praying for the felt needs of people on the street and then, by the direction of the Holy Spirit move from their felt needs to their real need giving their hearts and life to Jesus! We begin with the temporal and move to the eternal.

It is important for each Prayer Station member to appreciate that they must begin with prayer for the felt need and not with their witness. Wait until you have prayed for the persons felt need before moving to eternal matters. Prioritizing the felt need first and giving genuine attention to it will most often give the work a clear beginning point to make the shift from felt need to a relationship with Jesus.

We have been amazed to watch God use this very simple strategy in such a powerful way! After the tragedy of 9/11 through Prayer Stations, over 50,000 people were prayed for in the streets of New York City and more than 3,000 gave their lives to the Lord. Literally hundreds of thousands of lives have been touched by Prayer Stations.

While the Prayer Station ministry originated in New York City, it is currently being used around the globe as well, from Russia to Africa to Europe.

We are currently sending out teams to the Refuge of Hope ministry during their meal times on Monday evenings and Friday afternoons. Students from Lake Center Christian host a Prayer Station every Saturday at the Hartville Flea Market. A Prayer S
tation has also been present at most local neighborhood festivals.
