Vanua Levu, Fiji

Returning to Fiji with Marine Reach on the Pacific Link

July 30 - August 16 2009

For the fourth time in five years we will be sending a team to Fiji. We will again partner with Marine Reach Ministries as we sail, on the Pacific Link. The focus of this outreach will again include dental, eye and public health clinics as well as construction and childrens ministries.

DENTAL -

Dr, Henry Van Hala and Dr. Timothy Yannone will be returning assisted by Dr. Stephen Diakoff. We are in need of dental assistants and dental hygienists!

EYE -

We are waiting for confirmation from an Optometrist and Opthalmologist. We will also need assistants for all areas that require no professional education.

MEDICAL CARE -

Public Health clinics will be set up in surrounding villages. We are in need of a general Practitioner as well as nurses.

CONSTRUCTION -
THE PROJECTS HAVE YET TO BE DETERMINED

CHILDRENS MINISTRY -
We will creatively engage children who are waiting to see a doctor by playing games, doing crafts, singing songs, braiding hair, anything that builds friendship. By doing this, we are putting the child at ease as well as letting both the children and parent know we genuinely care about them. This is a great opportunity for families with children or teens and twenty-somethings to be an integral part of making a difference in the life of a child
